Fairmount has two large reception lounges and a separate dining room which is currently being extended. There is also a quiet lounge and library/reading room which overlooks the garden.

Ample toilet facilities are provided on all floors (lift available), with assisted hydrotherapy bath on the ground and first floors and assisted shower on second floor level.

We have recently undertaken a major extension plan which was completed in August '99. This has provided us with fifteen single rooms, ten of which are en-suite, plus six shared rooms, all decorated to a very high standard.

For residents' further convenience, and enjoyment, we ensure that Fairmount has frequent visits from a hairdresser, chiropodist, optician, dentist, local clergy, librarian, occupational therapist and media movement.

We have visiting entertainers and extra-mural activities are provided by way of occasional trips to our local amateur dramatic theatre and places of interest in the Kent countryside.

Prospective residents are invited to visit or spend a day at Fairmount.

If a longer period is required to suit both parties, a four week stay, on an introductory trial (and normal fee paying) basis, is suggested.
